I've been trying so hard to post on a regular basis but it just has been difficult the past few weeks.  The card I am showing you today is going into the mailbox for my son-in-law as soon as I finish this post.  My daughter will be visiting us next week but Tyler won't be able to make it so I am sending him this card along with a gift card tucked inside.  I had a hard time making an Easter card for a male that wasn't too frilly.  I did use my scallop circle punch because otherwise I was afraid it wouldn't be cute enough and I CAN'T have that!!!  :)

I used the stamp set Everybunny which is in the Idea Book and Catalog.  It is a cute set.  I used watercolor paper and colored my chick with watercolor crayons after I stamped the image with Staz-On.  The sentiment is also from the same set.  It actually said,"Happy Easter Everybunny" but I didn't want the words everybunny so I used my Pacific Point Marker directly over the words Happy Easter directly.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Only TWO MORE DAYS until Sale-a-bration goes away until next year!  If you would like to place an order, you can visit my Stampin' Up! website 24/7.

Take Care,

Heart Flower

Hi Stampers,
As promised, here is another card with the same flower that I posted on Monday.  I used Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.  I would never have used these colors together but they are in the Everyday Enchantment DSP and look so pretty together. It is so funny but sometimes it takes me hours to do JUST ONE CARD. I try so many different color combinations until I decide on the ones I want to use. This color or that, emboss with the Big Shot, ribbon???  These are the questions that go through my mind.  I wasn't sure if I wanted ribbon but as you can see, I went with the crochet ribbon.  Still not quite sure if I really needed it.  So, if you find that you take an inordinate amount of time for one card, you are not alone!!!

Thank you for stopping by!  Hope your week is going well!

Card for a Friend

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a nice weekend and didn't feel too tired this morning.

My card is one that I am giving to a friend today to thank her for several surprise gifts she has given to me recently.  Hope she likes it!  I have bling on the sentiment because she LOVES bling!! This was a very easy card to put together.  The hardest part was figuring out what colors I wanted to use.  The flower was made using my Heart punch and the Everyday Enchantment DSP (if you are in my Hostess Club, we are going to make one of these flowers at our next meeting).  Did you notice the cute fabric covered brad in the middle??  It is a sneak peek and you'll be able to order it on April 1st!!! On Wednesday I will have the same card but with different colors and paper so be sure to stop by!

Quilted Hello

Can you tell that I love this Everyday Enchantment paper??!!  It is available through Sale-a-bration only until March 31st.  I love the colors in all of the paper in this pack and will be so sad to see it go.  The inspiration for my card today came from fellow demonstrator, Dawn Olchefske.  I used the Postage Stamp punch for each of my squares.  I glued my squares onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock which then went onto a piece of  Poppy Parade cardstock.  The base of my card is Lucky Limeade.  I made the bow with my Lucky Limeade Ruffled ribbon.  The Calypso Coral organdy ribbon that I have going through the button was another freebie that I received in the Sale-a-bration catalog. It comes with 1 roll of Lucky Limeade and 1 roll of Calypso Coral ribbon AND 30 printed Designer brads!  They can be yours as well with a $50 order, before tax and shipping. My hello was stamped with the set Tiny Tags and then punched out with the Jewelry Tag punch.  I put a glue dot on the tag and put it underneath my bow.

One hour less today to get things done but it will be so nice when it stays light later!  Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Sneak Peek!

I have a Sneak Peek for you today!  This cute little purse was made using the new Petite Purse Bigz die for the Big Shot.   It will be available from April 1st until April 30th  as a Sneak Peek offer.  It will go away but then be available on June 1st in the new 2012-2013 Idea Book and Catalog.  It is very cute. I can see one for each guest at a baby shower (I've had baby showers on my mind since finding out I am going to be a grandma for the first time!!!) or just a fun way to give a little treat to someone.  To give you an idea how big it is, I have 7 chocolate eggs inside. I put a button on the front and right below it is a little tab that tucks into a slit.  The paper I used is Everyday Enchantment.  This pack of beautiful paper can be yours free with a $50 order (before shipping/tax) but only until March 31st!!  If you would like to place an order, click here!

Have a wonderful Saturday night and don't forget to put your clock ahead one hour before you go to bed!

March Thank You Cards

This is my March thank you card for anyone who places an order with me.  It is a 3x3 card using the Blossom punch in the Occasions Mini.  I punched the flower out in Daffodil Delight and then ran it through my Big Shot.  The base of the card is Rich Razzleberry as well as the Scallop Oval.  The sentiment is from one of my favorite sets, Short and Sweet!

Friend Box

Hi Friends!

Here is a quick box you can make with your Big Shot and the Bigz XL Box #2 die.  I used Berry Blossoms DSP.  You only need to add a small amount of Sticky Strip and the box folds in very easily.  My sentiment is from You're a Gem stamped with Lucky Limeade Ink using the Large Oval punch.  I used dimensionals and punched a Scallop Oval in Wisteria Wonder.  I wrapped it with Whisper White 5/8 inch Organza ribbon, which is my favorite ribbon to use.  The rhinestones add a bit of sparkle!

Thanks for stopping by!  The weekend is almost here!

Thoughts of You

Hi Friends!
Doesn't this card just scream SPRING??!!  I am looking forward to warmer mornings - it makes it so much easier to jump out of bed and get ready for school!

We made this card at Abbey's workshop and at my Hostess Club last month.  My inspiration for this card came from fellow demonstrator, Mary Fish.  She used one flower and used only black and white.  I love the Daffodil Delight and Concord Crush combination.  Concord Crush is an In Color that will be retiring June 1st when the new catalog comes out.  I love purple so I will be very sad to lose this color.  I will have to stock up on it before it goes away.

My card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom punch from the Occasions Mini catalog.  I keep reaching for this stamp set and find that I like every card I create with it.  The background and the inside of my flower uses a stamp which is included in Mixed Bunch.  My sentiment comes from the stamp set Loving Thoughts, also in the Occasions Mini.  I wish I had started using this set when it first came out.  It stamps very nicely and I think it adds some elegance to my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Big Shot Lattice Die

Hi Friends!
We made the top card at my Hostess Club on Thursday. Both of the cards use the Lattice Die and the colors Poppy Parade and Lucky Limeade but in different ways.  I still can't decide which way I prefer.  On the second card I ran the smaller section through the Big Shot and popped it up with dimensionals.  I CASED myself with a card I made in December (you can see it here) and another one here. It really makes a very different looking card each time.  The DSP, Everyday Enchantment, that I used can be yours free with a $50 order until March 31st.  I LOVE this paper and will be so sorry to see it go.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sale-a-Bration Freebie

My card today is one that we made at Abbey's workshop last week.  The card uses one of the stamps that you can get FREE during Sale-a-bration!!  It is the Triple Treat Flower stamp.  You can also purchase it in the Idea Book and Catalog but if you place a $50 order, the stamp can be yours for FREE.  I love the versatility of this stamp.  I stamped it twice using my Pacific Point stamp pad and Melon Mambo.  Then I used the Fancy Flower punch and punched out the Pacific Point flower.  I used the 5 Petal Flower punch for the inside Melon Mambo section.  Some dimensionals help to pop the flower up! I also added some dimension with my Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and my Big Shot.

Have a wonderful Sunday!
